Mike Wazowski

This one took a little over a hour, it's another one of those quick daily sketches. This is a toy of Mike Wazowski from Pixar's Monster Inc. that is lying on my work station. I liked the movie a lot because the story is very creative and you don't see too many of these around. In my opinion, I think sidekicks are one of the best part of any movie, because they tend to be stupid and funny all the time and sometimes they would steal the spotlights. Sully is cool but Mike is funnier =D

My Cat Chubby

Did this on monday for a quick practice. This one took roughly 1.5 hours. I didn't really like it that much but that's all I can do in 1.5 hours. I did exaggerated the eyes a bit to give it some attitude, hehe.

Carl Fredricksen Taking a Crap

I was practicing my painting skills over the x'mas holiday and drew this using photoshop. I really need more practice because this piece of crap took me nearly 16 hours to paint. Thank god I could easily make a lot of adjustments in photoshop otherwise this will take me days if not months if I had to paint this on canvas.

Top 12 Games of the Decade: #1 World of Warcraft

Gamasutra (a well-respected website in the gaming industry http://www.gamasutra.com/ ) has rated World of Warcraft 1st place in the "Top 12 Games of the Decade" category. That's awesome news man! Having to play WoW for 6 years myself, I must admit there isn't any other mmoRPG out there that matches with this. Several tried, but WoW still has the most subscribers so far. Great job for the people at Blizzard (Now it's called Activision Blizzard, weird name -_-")!.

The Chart of Fame

Interesting chart by the guys at Spline Doctors which I agree that animators are the least recognized people in the industry, especially me =D

Practice 1000 times

I've remember someone once told me that if you think you're incapable of doing something, please ask yourself if you have practice it over 1000 times, and if your answer is no, then that means you're not working hard enough. And recently I've came across a blog that also mentioned the same thing about the 1000 practice thing. Is it really true if you practice 1000 times you'll be a pro? Guess I'll have to try it out to see =P
